Times Square makes me happy too!

My man right here loves traveling. He came all the way from Romania and now he's making a living out of one of his passions: photo!

Here on Times Square things are going crazy! Asia gives us a spontaneous performance of the song Peanut Butter an Jelly Time!

This Danish couple on a visit to New York old us happiness for them is HYGGE! (pronounced hügge) It cannot be translated and that's what I love about it. Now I will use this Danish word all the time! Hygge hygge hygge hygge!

We met these guys in Times Square and we asked them about what makes them happy. Soon after they just smiled and told us: "Traveling!". Well, definitely we agree with that.

The joy of being on a new country has no language, no boundaries: these guys from France show us how excited they're to be here in Times Square!

Couldn't go to New York without going to see the Statue of Liberty. Being here you can almost imagine what it must have been like for the immigrants to see this sight as they came in from a long ocean crossing, ready to start a new life.

Starting early here @Times Square. Walking around we just saw this sir sitting down, enjoying with some people and drinking a Coke so we thought: "let's give it a try and ask him...". So we did, we told him about the project and when saying goodbye he told us: "Good luck and safe travels!"

Nos encontramos en Harlem, en el famoso teatro Apollo: nombres cómo Fitzgerald, Brown, Holiday muchos más pasaron por este mismo escenario antes de ser famosos. Hoy es la noche de amateurs y en la cara de todos (público y amateurs) se nota el deseo de una revelación: por parte de los espectadores de ver una actuación que va a tocar las fibras más profundas de su ser; por parte de los amateurs el dar una presentación que se gane el reconocimiento de los primeros... Y es que en este famoso lugar todos, de una manera u otra, buscan la felicidad.

Now that's an original response! Thank you Myrtha (Antonio's mom) for that insight! But she was sitting here in Times Square with such a huge grin plastered on her face I had to take a picture of her!

These are our happiness ambassadors in Times Square who are helping people get their picture up on the big Coca-Cola screen, telling the world what makes them happy. The most unusual answers they got so far are : pomegranate, salsa dancing and summer camp (the guy was well over his twenties)

Meet Maddy and Alexis, two very VERY excited young girls. They are about to attend a concert of a lifetime at Madison Square Garden. There was almost no need to ask them about happiness - just look at those grinning faces!

There is a lot of happiness going on in front of Madison Square Garden where crazed teenage fans are getting hyped up for a huge concert! Tony and Antonio seem a bit lost among the young female crowd!

We're asking people to make the world smile and do something funny on camera. Lisa here gave us a succession of her silliest faces.

Meet Joan, the winner of our US Coke bottle contest. She won a trip to New York and her bottle will be displayed at the World of Coke in Atlanta.

Lori from North Oaks, Minnesota is in New York to celebrate her 25th wedding anniversary. She didn't expect to have her picture on a big screen in Times Square today! We're asking what makes people happy and sending it straight to the big screen. Lori said 'good food'

This guy right here when asked to tell us or show us something to spread some happiness across the world gave us a really cool message: "it's all about peace and love, everyone should start living more that way instead of hating more". We agree with that!

I met this just-turned-13-awesome-girl who is hanging out in New York with her family for her birthday. She let me sign her cool pink cast and in exchange I sang her 'happy birthday'.

We arrived in New York and they surprised us with our MOMS! I swear I didn't cry... I swear. Kelly explains how important this is for us.

We've all been waiting quite awhile to hit the dynamic, wondrous city of NY. Antonio is sitting in the cab with this sly smile on his face that I have come to know as the face he makes when he's too happy for words.

This lovely lady Diane said that it's the beautiful colors of the sea and the sky and all the surroundings that brings Bahamians happiness. She told me that the tourists are so happy to swim in the bay here because it's so clear. But the Bahamians thinks it's too polluted. They know better spots where it's even clearer. They say you should be able to see a nickel at the bottom and decipher whether it's heads or tails. I ran into Martin at a pharmacy in the Cayman Islands and you can tell that this dude is just happy to be alive.

I think that happiness at work is definitely a big part of being happy all around.

I love this country. They have music that I love, people that are great and food that is simply amazing! Chris here tries to explain that magic of Jamaica that so many people love.

Our flying lunchbox was flying nice and low so the views were amazing! We could actually see the corral in the sea quite clearly as we flew over. (If only I could get Tony to look at it instead of praying for his life)

You wanna know something? Before this gig, I was afraid of flying, although I've done it often. It's something about a heavy metal object pushing upwards into air that makes me nervous, even more so when I'm inside that metal object. After over 350,000 miles of flights on this trip, I'm mostly over that fear of flying. Mostly. We just rode in the smallest plane yet, a six seater, and that fear came edging back as the wind pushed this flying toaster back and forth.

Now THIS is officially the smallest commercial airplane we've been on. Six seats, one pilot and one fun experience! (but Tony didn't look too happy)

Another special welcome awaited us in Santa Domingo. The music was fun and people randomly started to dance around them. We created our own impromptu party in the airport!

We arrived in Dominican Republic yesterday and I've fallen in love with this place. My new friend Joan here talks about his happiness and touches on many of the reasons I enjoy this place so much.

The island of Dominica is covered with virgin jungle. It's the greenest place I have ever seen. It's no surprise they filmed all the jungle scenes of Pirates Of the Caribbean here. Arr!

If you're on a beach in Aruba don't be surprised if a bunch of flamingos come strolling towards you. Also don't jump if you see a giant iguana chilling in the sun. This place is filled with nature and animals all around.

Con un atardecer cómo éste es bastante sencillo encontrar felicidad. La gente en las Islas Vírgenes Británicas son súper aliviniadas y relajadas. Son cómo una extensión de este mar tranquilo y apasible.

It's so easy to see why island life = happiness.

A very special welcome awaited us the airport of Papeete. Some Polynesian dancers gave us a great show. The girls swing their hips so fast it looks like their buttocks have a mind of their own.

What happens when we get bored on a long flight? Well in Tony's case it's playing with his food. He didn't like the look of the spongy square on his tray so instead of eating it he turned it into a turtle monster. Here he is trying to tame it.

Tahitians are crazy about water sports. Surfing, sailing, jet skiing... Anything that happens on or in the sea. And with a sea as great as this it's quite normal. We got to try out some 'paddling' which basically consists standing on a board (not as easy as it looks cos its hard to keep your balance) with a paddle. In a typical family house you will find boards and paddles of all shapes and sizes.

Bored on the plane, my undetermined food transformed into a ninja-food turtle!

Here we are at Samoa with one of our hosts and a local artist that created the amazing Coke bottle for Samoa. These guys are amazing, they showed us around Samoa and shared with us something I would call the "Samoan Spirit" which basically it's a way Samoans not just act but live. They are so welcoming, so friendly... And they're willing to share the best of them in the presence of new friends (such as us). We had the chance to share laughter, stories of traveling and perspectives upon life and happiness. If you guys ever have the chance to go to Samoa go for it: you're gonna meet yourself immersed on a beautiful country that has an engaging culture and, on top of everything, people that you'll call friends for the rest of your life.

We're almost always staying at hotels and if there's something I enjoy is talking with the staff at those places. It's amazing to listen to all the stories they have to share and the lessons about life they can teach you. Cathy, the lady that was doing the housekeeping at our hotel in Papua New Guinea, started talking with me. "Where are you from?" -she asked. I told her that I was from Mexico/Puerto Rico and she asked me how is life back home. Then, after talking with her for a while, she shared things with me about her culture and finally told me: "In PNG by the end of the day it doesn't matter if you don't have anything... If you have a family that comes together and sticks together through both good and bad times, that gives you happiness".

We were invited to a school where the kids gave us a wonderful welcome. They performed for us and even composed their own Coca-Cola song for us. It goes something like :"Coca-Cola is our favorite drink, we love Coca-Cola"
The people here tend to be very shy. They had to drag the first performers out. But after a while they grew more comfortable with us and were keen on sharing their culture and many talents. We had a lot of fun!

This choir from New Caledonia performed different songs for us and it was truly special. We had the chance to witness all the time, effort, energy that this group of kids put into their singing and it reminded me of how those things we love to do (singing, painting, writing, swimming... Whatever!) bring happiness to our lives. So if you haven't done that thing you love to do: go for it and do it! Do it because you're alive and you wanna celebrate life doing that thing that makes you happy.

I start talking with my new friend from Vanuatu about things we enjoy in life. We found a common ground: music. After a while he explains me quite simply that whenever he's stressed or whenever he has problems he starts playing some music and everything goes away. "I just start smiling again". What do you guys do to regain balance -and that lost smile- whenever you're having problems?

We were greeted at the airport by an impressive welcome ceremony. The traditions in Tonga are still very much alive and their culture well preserved. The women danced to a traditional welcome song.

We met this cool social media addict, Emilie, that has been living in Auckland for 3 years.

This lady tells us how the Tongan people are always friendly. Everyone and anyone will always smile at you whether you're a stranger or not. We did indeed experience this. It is not for nothing that it's called the 'friendly islands'.

Everyone here is said to have the Bula Spirit within them. With everyone so welcoming and friendly, you can feel that Bula Spirit all around. It sounds cool too!
